Bacteriostatic Water is sterile water containing a bacteriostatic preservative, commonly benzyl alcohol, and is used in qualified laboratory and research settings where preserved sterile water is required for appropriate research applications. Its formulation provides researchers with a practical medium for laboratory preparation and reconstitution. Once opened, keep it refrigerated at 2–8°C and discard it 28 days after the stopper is first punctured.
Our peptides are supplied as a freeze-dried (lyophilized) powder in sealed vials. In this form they are stable at room temperature for the time it takes to ship, so no cold packs are needed. Once your order arrives, store unopened vials in a refrigerator at 2–8°C, away from light and moisture. For storage longer than a few weeks, keep them frozen at −20°C or colder. Before opening a vial, let it reach room temperature so moisture doesn't condense inside.
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, keep the vial refrigerated at 2–8°C, protected from light, and use it within 28 days. Peptides are much less stable in solution than as a powder, so don't leave reconstituted vials at room temperature. For longer storage, divide the solution into single-use portions and freeze them at −20°C, avoiding repeated freezing and thawing.
